Protests against Mako and Kei Komuro's marriage march again: "We finally have a voice”.
Youtuber Kei who organized the demonstration (10th Oct.) On the 16th, a march demonstration was held in Tokyo to oppose the marriage of Mako (29) and Kei Komuro (30) of the Akishino family. The demonstration was organized by Kei, an imperial family-watcher and YouTuber who delivers imperial family news, and was the second such demonstration following the one held on the 10th of this month. More than 130 people attended, more than last time, and 80% were women. Each person held a placard or a Japanese flag, such as "Imperial Family in Crisis! Let's protect the Imperial Family," "Stop the farce!" and other placards and the Japanese flag, and walked for 40 minutes along the 1.5 km route between Hibiya and Ginza. The response to the previous demonstration, which took place as Princess Mako and Mr. Komuro were about to get married on the 26th, was so great that domestic and foreign TV stations came to cover the event on the 16th.
