Kei Komuro met with his counterpart and agreed to settle the financial issue by handing over the settlement money, two days before leaving Japan

Kei Komuro, who married Mako, the eldest daughter of Prince and Princess Akishino, last month, met with his mother's former fiancee, with whom he had a financial dispute, at a lawyer's office in Tokyo on November 12. The former fiancé will receive a settlement from Komuro, and both parties confirmed that the financial problem has been resolved.

Kei Komuro left the apartment in Tokyo where he was staying at a little after 7:30 p.m.  and entered the lawyer's office representing him. Just before this, his mother's former fiancé also entered the same lawyer's office, and Komuro met with his former fiancé for about an hour and a half. This is the first time the two have met since the news of their financial troubles.

After the meeting, Komuro did not respond to calls from the press, but left the lawyer's office with his face slightly upturned, his chest heaving as usual. His counterpart also refused to talk about the contents of the meeting.

According to the lawyer representing Komuro, at the meeting, Komuro and his former fiancée spoke directly to each other and confirmed that the latter would receive the settlement proposed by Komuro.

With this, the two parties mutually confirmed that the financial problems between the former fiancé and Komuro's mother, Kayo, have been finally resolved.

Komuro and Mako is said to be scheduled to leave for the U.S. on November 14, and the financial problems were resolved just before they left.
