What about the Bar Exam? Where Will He Get a Job? ‘Birthday Wedding’? Much Speculation on Komuro's movements

 

Komuro graduated from Fordham Law School on May 23, but he did not post his picture or message online, and unlike many of his classmates who live near New York, he did not attend the graduation ceremony. His whereabouts have not been traced since then.

 

 There has been a lot of speculation about his future.

 First of all, it is widely believed that he will take the NY State Bar Exam scheduled for July 27 and 28.

 As for where he will work after that, there is currently no information that he will work for a law firm in NY State. Many of his classmates have been offered jobs at law firms where they have internships even before they take the final exams or the bar exam, but no such information about Komuro has been received.

 So, it has been suggested that he will work for one of the UN agencies in New York.

One imperial journalist told to News Post Seven that "Mr. Komuro chose NY as his study abroad destination in the first place because the headquarters of international organizations with strong imperial connections are concentrated, as not a few officials from the IHA said."


 And what are the prospects for the marriage of Mako　and Komuro?

Mr. Shinji Yamashita, a former member of the Imperial Household Agency and an imperial family journalist, believes that a major development will take place this autumn.

October 23 will be the 30th birthday of Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako, so I think the timing will be good.”

 

There are several important milestones for the Imperial Family this fall. Mako's birthday as mentioned above. Also, on November 30th is the birthday of her father, Crown Prince Akishino, and if this matter is not resolved, he will be pursued intensely by reporters at his birthday press conference.

And, not to be overlooked, on the following day, December 1st, Her Imperial Highness Princess Aiko, the Emperor's only child, will celebrate her 20th birthday.

Aiko, who is very popular among Japanese people and is expected to become the next emperor, will join the adult members of the JIF then. It is said that the Imperial Household Agency is unanimous in its stance that the Mako issue cannot be dragged on indefinitely and that they want to resolve it before that date at all costs before Aiko’s birthday.

Therefore, Mako's "birthday wedding" this fall is not so far-fetched.

 

However, whether or not the "Nousai Ceremony," which is the engagement ceremony of the royal family as Yamashita says, can be performed is another matter, and therein lies a high hurdle.

Mako Komuro and Kei Attend Funeral of Mako's grandfather with Akishino Family

    Tatsuhiko Kawashima, professor emeritus at Gakushuin University, father of Noriko Akishino and grandfather of Mako Komuro, died of mesothelioma on April 4 at the age of 81. Kei Komuro Fails NY State Bar Exam?
