Japanese Government's Secret Support for Kei Komuro? German report

Image
Kei Komuro has failed the NY bar exam in July 2021 and his livelihood is in jeopardy. However, there are reports that he has a huge source of funding. German state broadcaster DW reported that the Japanese government is expected to sign a contract with Komuro's employer in New York to financially support him and his wife.   https://www-dw-com.translate.goog/en/japan-princess-mako-marries-commoner-amid-controversy/a-59617287?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=nui   In this report, Yoichi Shimada, an academic and staunch supporter of Japan’s monarchy, is quoted as saying:   "We all know that the life of an international lawyer in New York is very challenging and competitive, so I worry that he will not be up to that task, although I have heard from my contacts in the Japanese government that Tokyo will be using Komuro's law firm to ensure he is a success and can earn a living."       The above information has not be

Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress attended the opening ceremony of the 36th National Cultural Festival and the 21st National Festival of Arts and Culture for the Disabled in Wakayama Prefecture online from the Imperial Palace where they reside. His Majesty the Emperor connected the Imperial Palace/Goseki with the site via a live broadcast and said, "I hope that the circle of exchange will lead to the creation of a new culture. His Majesty expressed his concern for the hardships caused by the new coronavirus and said, "I believe that art and culture can enrich our minds and help us realize a richer life even in difficult times. After the ceremony, Their Majesties viewed the stage and exhibition, and talked with the performers and authors. The Emperor asked Ayaka Ejima, 18, a high school senior who danced on the stage, if she had been affected by Corona. After the meeting, Ms. Ejima said, "Even though I couldn't see his face through the mask, her eyes wer

A Princess and an Ambitious Young Man: One Black Comedy Scenario

This series of events between Mako and Komuro is undoubtedly a black comedy.   For example, the following story would be interesting as fiction:

Change and Unreadable: Komuro's Law Firm Website

Image
Kei Komuro's profile page of Sep.30   As of March 30, the website of Lowenstein Sandler, the law firm where Kei Komuro was employed, has been inaccessible from Japan. It is believed that access is restricted by some security measures. Komuro has been listed as a "law clerk" of the firm since the beginning of this September.   The firm's website has recently undergone the following changes.   -On October 21, a mug shot was posted on Komuro's profile page. In this photo, Komuro was wearing a gray sweatshirt, which became a hot topic because it was different from the other staff members who were all wearing suits.   -On the 22nd, the mug shot disappears from Komuro's page and reappears as a pictogram-like image.   -Around the 29th, "Fordam's JFK Profile in Courage and Sweat Equity Award" disappears from Komuro's page, and instead, the following information is added: in 2021, he won the NY State Bar Association's essay

Kei Komuro Fails NY State Bar Exam?

The NY State Board of Law Examiners announced the list of successful applicants on its official website on July 29.   https://www.nybarexam.org/EXJ21/July2021Results.htm   I can't find Komuro's name on the "K to L" page of this list of successful candidates.   According to reports in Japan, the salary at the law firm where Komuro is employed is about 18 million yen for a lawyer in his first year. The salary for a non-lawyer law clerk is believed to be around 6.5 million yen.   If he fails to pass the exam, it will already cast a pall over the newlywed life of the Komuros in New York.   The New York State bar exam is held twice a year, and the next exam will be held in February 2022.

Fake News Included in Mr.Komuro's Wedding Conference, Creditor Says

Image
The wedding press conference between Mako, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro took place on the 26th. The biggest obstacle to the marriage (ostensibly) was the debt problem of Kei's mother, who had borrowed 4 million yen from a man she had been engaged to in the past and had not repaid it.   (Note: I say "ostensibly" because that is not actually the only scandal involving Kei Komuro and his mother. (The Western media have ignored numerous allegations of family suicides, fraudulent receipt of survivor's pensions, fraudulent receipt of sickness and injury benefits, bullying, and relationships with gang members, making it appear that there are only minor debt problems.   How did this former fiancé view the wedding press conference? When the weekly magazine "FRIDAY" interviewed him on the night of the event, they found that Kei's statements at the press conference contained multiple falsehoods.   For example, Kei s

Is This Paper or Manual? Kei Komuro Wins NY State Bar Association Competition

On the 26th, the same day as Mako and Kei Komuro's wedding, the New York State Bar Association, where the two will be based for the rest of their lives, held an award ceremony online for the essay competition won by Kei, and congratulated him on his marriage.     NY State Bar Association:   "I wish him (Kei) all the best in his marriage and congratulate him on his win. It just so happens that this award is also a wedding gift."   Komuro, the winner, was not present at the event, but the organizers congratulated him on his marriage to Ms. Mako.   In addition, a representative of the bar association spoke highly of   Komuro's paper, saying that it was not only an academic legal paper, but also a very practical one.   By the way, I was able to read this paper, "Compliance Problems in Website Accessibility and Implications for Entrepreneurs By Kei Komuro," on the web. Mako's Registration of Leaving the Imperial Family: IHA Chiefs Sign "Imperial Record”

Image
On April 27, the Shoryo Department of the Imperial Household Agency registered the fact that Mako, 30, the eldest daughter of Prince and Princess Akishino, who married on April 26, had left the status of the Imperial Family in the Imperial Register.     Yasuhiko Nishimura, director-general of the Imperial Household Agency, and Yoshifumi Nomura, head of the Shoryo Department, signed the pages on which Mako's status was written as follows: "On February 26, she left the status of the Imperial Family" and " This is due to her marriage to Kei Komuro.”     The IF Record has two parts: the "Daito-fu" for the emperor and empress, and the "Kozoku-fu" for other members of the imperial family. Mako's matters are listed in the Kozoku-fu for the descendants of the emperor. The Shoryo Department keeps the official copy, and the Ministry of Justice has a duplicate copy.

Kei Komuro's Mother Worked Under a False Name for a Long Period of Time While Receiving Sickness and Injury Benefits?

Image
On the 26th, the marriage of Kei Komuro to Mako, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, was consummated, but Kei's mother, Kayo, did not offer any comments.   As for Kayo, on the 6th of this month, a freelance journalist filed a complaint with the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office regarding two "illegal payments" (which were later returned and are now being prepared for resubmission). https://jiftoday.blogspot.com/2021/10/kei-komuros-mother-criminally-charged.html     One of the "fraudulent payments" is a survivor's pension that Kayo received after her husband's death. For more information on Kayo's survivor's pension, click here https://jiftoday.blogspot.com/2021/06/regarding-komuros-mothers-alleged.html     The other is the illegal receipt of sickness and injury benefits. Demonstrations, Criticism, and Silence: Japanese People's Real Feeling toward Makomuro Marriage

Image
On the 26th, the day of the marriage of Kei Komuro to Mako, 30, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, there was a protest demonstration against the marriage in Tokyo. According to "Bunshun Online," about 120 demonstrators gathered at Hibiya Park at 11 a.m. and marched 1.7 kilometers from Hibiya to Ginza for 40 minutes.     The demonstrators walked with various message cards such as "Stop the farce conference," "Don't allow the overflow of imperial privileges," "NO KOMURO, don't allow the use of the imperial family," and "The imperial family is our source." A man who said he was the organizer of the demonstration explained his aim, the article said.   The participants were mainly women in their 50s and 60s, but there was a wide range of ages and genders. A woman in her twenties from Yokohama, who came to the demonstration with her one-year-old child, said, "My image of the Imperial Family has changed a

Mako(30), the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro (30), who submitted their marriage registration on the 26th, held a press conference on the same day and released their answers to questions posed by the media in advance in written form. The full text is as follows.   [Introduction]   I have received three questions from the Imperial Household Press Association, one from the Japan Magazine Association, and one from the Foreign Press Association. I believe that all of the questions have been carefully considered. However, among these questions, there were some that could have given the impression that false information was true. I was shocked by this, and when I imagined answering such questions orally in the hall, I felt that it would be impossible for me to answer them orally, as it would rekindle my fears and further spread my emotional scars. I sincerely regret that I was asked a question that could give the impression that false information is fac

Mako(30), the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro (30) held a press conference on the same day to register their marriage. Their oral remarks were as follows:   Mako: I would like to express my sympathy to the many people who are currently suffering from the continuing effects of the new coronavirus infection. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to those who are helping those in difficulty and supporting our lives.   I am here today because I have something to share with you. I would like to talk about the feelings of gratitude I have had during my time as a member of the Imperial Family, the gratitude I have for those who have worried about and supported our marriage, the feelings we have had during the past events, and our thoughts on marriage.   Up until now, under your kind guidance, I have tried to fulfill my duties as a member of the Imperial Family as carefully as I could in my own way.   For the past thirty years, I have

Mako reveals her own "exercise of imperial privilege" at Komuro couple's press conference

Image
Mako Komuro and Kei Komuro held a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo on the afternoon of the 26th, after their marriage registration was accepted and they officially became husband and wife.   Mako explained that her handling of Kei's mother's debt problems to her former fiancé and the acceleration of Kei's study abroad program were at her request at the briefing.   "Since the news about the engagement came out, Kei has never acted on his own. For example, the way we dealt with Kei's mother's former fiancé was carried out in the direction I requested. As for Kei's study abroad, I asked him to move up his future plans to study abroad and to establish a base overseas." said Mako.   This means that: -The fact that Mako, who was a member of the Imperial Family, took sides in an economic dispute between two private citizens is an abuse of the Imperial Family's privileges, and would have caused great fear in the former fiancée of

Mako and Komuro's Marriage Report Accepted, Questions to be Answered in Document

Image
According to reports, the Imperial Household Agency has announced just after 10 a.m. on the 26 th that the marriage notification of Mako, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro has been accepted.     Mako left the Imperial Family and become Mako Komuro.  She left Akasaka Palace where she has lived for 30 years, and she and Komuro are scheduled to hold a press conference in Tokyo this afternoon.       Initially, the two were scheduled to answer questions from reporters directly, but the IHA announced yesterday that after the two speak at the beginning of the press conference, they will leave the room after providing written answers to five questions received in advance.     The reason for the cancellation of the question-and-answer session, according to the IHA, is that "Mako was strongly shocked by the fact that some of the questions she received in advance could give the impression that false information was true," and that the deci

Mako and Komuro to Marry Today: Gap of Understanding

Mako, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro are expected to hold a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo in the afternoon on the morning of October 26.   My personal feelings on this matter are as follows: I'm fed up. To be honest, I want it to be over soon. I don't expect much from the press conference, so I won't be watching it live. Therefore, I won't report it in detail on this blog either.   Like many Japanese people, I spent my younger years without much interest in the Imperial Family, and only in my 50s did I start to gather information about it. As I became more interested in the subject, I was astonished to learn how the current Emperor Emeritus and his wife and the Akishino family have exercised privileges that would not be allowed under the current constitution, how they have wasted taxpayers' money, and how they have persecuted the current Emperor and Empress.   And then there was the Mako and Komuro fiasco, which

Mako's grandfather is rushed to the hospital, just before her marriage to Kei Komuro

Mr.and Mrs.Kawashima   "At around 2:30 p.m. on October 19, Tatsuhiko Kawashima, professor emeritus at Gakushuin University, father of Princess Kiko and grandfather of Princess Mako, was rushed to a hospital in Tokyo. His current condition is unknown, but it is said that his previous illness has worsened. Some people say that he is in a very dangerous condition.     On the same day, Princess Noriko, Princess Mako and Princess Kako made a sudden visit to the hospital to visit Professor Kawashima. Noriko's feelings about her own father's emergency are unfathomable. ......" (Imperial Household Agency official)   At the age of 81, Professor Kawashima's condition is a cause for concern.   "On October 26, Mako is scheduled to marry Kei Komuro. The timing of Professor Kawashima's collapse is unbelievable. ...... On October 19, Mako made a private visit to the three palaces of the Imperial Household and reported this marriage to the ancestors of

Before the marriage... 3 of His Majesty's schoolmates opened their mouths and said, "We cannot agree with their marriage from the bottom of our hearts”

Mako, 29, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro, whose family and himself have been the subject of numerous scandals, are scheduled to marry and hold a press conference on October 26. While newspapers and TV stations have been unnaturally celebrating the marriage, the weekly magazine "FLASH" interviewed people with close ties to the Imperial Family and received negative comments from all of them.   It says:   "As a human being, I'm sure you'd be happy to be with someone you love. But in this case, I think it's an impossible marriage. You won't be happy with an unreasonable marriage .”     So said Naohiro Sanada, who has been a schoolmate of His Majesty the Emperor Emeritus, Mako’s grandfather, since his primary school days at Gakushuin.   "In September 2017, when Mako and Mr. Komuro announced their engagement, the public was in a celebratory mood. However, when the financial troubles of Ms. Komuro's mother,

Princess Mako Visits 3 Halls of the Imperial Palace Privately, instead of Formal Imperial Ceremonies

Image
On April 19, Mako, 29, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, visited the three halls of the Imperial Palace, where the ancestors of the Imperial Family are enshrined, before she leaves the Imperial Family following her marriage to Kei Komuro, 30. This was a private visit to the Imperial Palace in place of the "Rite of Audience at the Temple of the Sages", one of the customary ceremonies that was canceled in consideration of criticism of the marriage.   Dressed in a pale green dress and mask, Mako walked slowly through the gate, bowed, and headed for the three halls. If it were a ceremonial visit, she would have been dressed in a kimono and would have been on top of the palace, but this time she was dressed in Western clothes and was on top of the garden.   In light of the outcry over the Komuro family's financial troubles, the Imperial Household Agency has decided not to hold any ceremonies for the Imperial family. There will be no "Choken-no-gi

Kei Komuro greets Prince and Princess Akishino, meets Mako again

Image
Kei Komuro, who will marry Mako, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, on the 26th, went to greet Prince and Princess Akishino and Mako on the morning of the 18th.   On the 18th, Komuro met with Mako and the Akishino's not at the family's residence but at the Akasaka Higashi Residence, a place used for events in the Akasaka Imperial Palace. The Akishino's did not stay long and returned to their residence, after which Mako and Komuro reunited and had lunch together. Akishino’s other children, Kako and Hisahito were not in attendance.     Komuro wore his long hair in a ponytail when he returned from the U.S. on March 27, but on March 17, the day before his visit to the Akishino family, she had called a hairdresser to her house for a haircut, so her hair was short that day.

Strange coincidence: Doctor who diagnosed Mako with "complicated PTSD" becomes first Japanese to be elected as President-Elect of International Organization Princess Mako Dr.Tsuyoshi Akiyama With regard to the marriage of Kei Komuro and Mako, the eldest daughter of Prince Akishino, there have been reports of unbelievable preferential treatment, such as the admission of Komuro, who is neither a lawyer nor a law major in Japan, to Fordham Law School, the awarding of scholarships that should be given only to the most outstanding students, and the exceptionally smooth process of obtaining work visas, and each time there had been rumors of the exercise of "imperial privilege" by Prince Akishino.   And now, a new strange coincidence has occurred that might make you wonder: "Imperial privilege?”   On the 1st of this month, at the official announcement of the marriage of Mako and Kei Komuro by the Imperial Household Agency, a doctor was present and announc
