Fake News Included in Mr.Komuro's Wedding Conference, Creditor Says
The wedding press conference between Mako,
the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, and Kei Komuro took place on the
26th. The biggest obstacle to the marriage (ostensibly) was the debt problem of
Kei's mother, who had borrowed 4 million yen from a man she had been engaged to
in the past and had not repaid it.
(Note: I say "ostensibly" because
that is not actually the only scandal involving Kei Komuro and his mother. (The
Western media have ignored numerous allegations of family suicides, fraudulent
receipt of survivor's pensions, fraudulent receipt of sickness and injury
benefits, bullying, and relationships with gang members, making it appear that
there are only minor debt problems.
How did this former fiancé view the wedding
press conference? When the weekly magazine "FRIDAY" interviewed him
on the night of the event, they found that Kei's statements at the press
conference contained multiple falsehoods.
For example, Kei said the following about
his debt problems with the ex-fiancee.
"As I wrote in the document I
released, my mother and I have thanked my ex-fiancé for his support from time
to time, and I am still grateful to him.
(Note: In April of this year, Kei Komuro
released a long, 28-page A4 document on his debt problems, which drew public
criticism because it was full of excuses and attacks. The "released
document" refers to this 28-page document.)
According to my ex-fiancee, this is not
true.
"In the past 10 years or so, Kayo-san
(Kei's mother) and Kei-kun have never said anything to me to thank me for
anything."
Kei also said at the press conference that
his proposed direct negotiations with the ex-fiancee would be done by Kei rather
than by Kei's mother, who is a party to the trouble.
"I have received a positive response
from the ex-fiancee," he said.
However, according to the ex-fiancee, this
is also not true. He has always believed that Kayo was originally the one to
negotiate the money, but since Kei offered to negotiate, he accepted the offer
and reiterated his proposal to meet Kei before the October 26 press conference.
However, Kei's agent did not respond in the affirmative due to scheduling and
security issues.
Kei was the one who did not want to meet
with him. The man said he had a sense of discomfort about which Kei said he “had
received a positive response.” at the press conference nevertheless.
In the press conference of the Komuros, the
words "false information" were used a total of eight times, and the
words "untrue story" were used three times, but unfortunately, the
content of their statements can never be said to be true either.
In the same article, Yuji Odabe, professor
emeritus at Shizuoka University of Social Welfare who specializes in issues
related to the Imperial Family, and an expert on imperial family issues, said:
"Because of Mako's physical condition,
I think it was unavoidable for her to answer the questions in writing. However,
I think that Mr. Komuro should have stayed at the venue to answer questions. I
don't think the public's understanding was gained through this press
conference.”
